Fall Continuing Education 2017

On November 11, Upstate Veterinary Specialties hosted its 2017 Fall Continuing Education Lecture Series. This great program provided an opportunity for UVS staff, veterinarians and technicians, to provide New York State approved continuing education to our referral network. As experts in their respective fields, our staff presented on various industry topics and prepared their presentations through education, research, and professional experience. This year we had two tracks going throughout the day, one for veterinarians and one for technicians.

UVS veterinarians who presented lectures included:

Dr. Cassidy Sedacca, DVM, MS, DACVIM, Emergency Management of Cardiac Disease

Dr. Todd Bishop, DVM, DACVIM (Neurology), Demystifying the Neuro-Ophthalmologic Exam

Dr. Alison Khoo, BSc, BVMS, DACVIM, Diagnosis and Management of Feline Hypersomatotropism

Dr. Keith Montgomery, DVM, DACVO, Feline Ophthalmology: Cats Are Not Small Dogs

Katee Murphy, LVT, The Lighter Side of Anesthesia

Amanda Breyette, LVT, Basic Abdominal Ultrasound

Jenn Wolfe, LVT, CCRP, The Ins and Outs of Rehabilitation
