UVS Emergency Service Gets Second Criticalist

We’re excited to announce Dr. Madeline Libin, DVM, DACVECC has joined our team, adding a second board-certified criticalist to our emergency team. Dr. Libin was born in Millbrook, NY in Dutchess County and raised in Hastings-on-Hudson, NY. She received her bachelor of arts in French language and literature from Barnard College of Columbia University in 2011 and in 2016, obtained her DVM from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine
Following her doctorate, Dr. Libin completed a rotating small animal internship at the Animal Medical Center in New York, NY, and finished her emergency and critical care residency with them in 2020. Dr. Libin obtained her board certification as a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care (ACVECC) in October 2020.
After eight years of city life, Dr. Libin is excited to be in Upstate New York. Dr. Libin has a pit bull mix named Carrot and enjoys skiing, hiking, and completing the New York Times crossword puzzle every day.
