Upstate Veterinary Specialties Fall 2016 Continuing Education Lecture Day

The September 27, 2016 Upstate Veterinary Specialties Continuing Education Lecture Day provided an opportunity for UVS veterinarians and technicians to share the knowledge that they have developed through formal training and clinical experience.
UVS Veterinarians who presented lectures to general practice veterinarians included:
Ophthalmology:
Dr. Christa Corbett, DVM, MS, DACVO
Critical Care:
Dr. Danielle Berube, DVM, DACVECC
Cardiology:
Dr. Agnieszka Kent, DVM, MS, DACVIM
Surgery:
Dr. Maxwell Bush, VMD
This year, UVS added a second lecture track specifically for licensed veterinary technicians (LVTs), providing local techs the opportunity to learn from their peers and earn NYSED CE Credits without having to travel to a conference.

The UVS doctors and technicians enjoyed meeting, interacting with and exchanging ideas with their colleagues. Following the lectures, several doctors and technicians who travelled from out of state for the CE lectures were also given tours of the new hospital.
