Dr. Sydney Sill received her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from Cornell University College of Agriculture and Life Sciences in 2023. Following her undergraduate studies, Sydney completed a two-month laboratory internship with Animal Health and Diagnostic Center, followed by a position as a laboratory student worker, where she learned laboratory sample identification and proper biosecurity protocols. In September 2025, Sydney completed an elective clinical rotation in the Behavioral Medicine Service at Cornell University. In May 2026, Dr. Sill received her DVM from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Sill joined UVS’s Emergency Medicine Mentorship Program (EMMP) in July 2026. She enjoys all aspects of emergency medicine and is eager to combine her clinical skills with exceptional client communication, education, and problem-solving to provide positive veterinary experiences for pet owners and high-quality medical care.

Sydney has two cats named Angel and Nyx. Sydney also owns a cornsnake named Ignis and participates in numerous educational community outreach programs with him. In her free time, Sydney enjoys volunteering at her local library, writing, hiking, photography, and teaching her cats new skills and tricks.
