Dr. Elizabeth Wolf was born in New York City and raised in northern New Jersey. In 2002, Dr. Wolf studied abroad in Segovia, Spain, and participated in La Universidad SEK’s cultural and language immersion program. In 2003, she received her Bachelor of Arts in Spanish. Dr. Wolf is fluent in oral and written Spanish.

Dr. Wolf spent two years in Boston, MA, researching multiple sclerosis in human medicine before pursuing veterinary school. In 2009, she obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from University of Illinois, College of Veterinary Medicine. Following her DVM, Dr. Wolf completed a small animal medicine and surgery internship with NYC Veterinary Specialists in New York, NY.

Dr. Wolf’s career started at BluePearl Veterinary Partners in 2010, where she practiced for eleven years. As a senior clinician within the emergency service, she provided emergency medical care, performed urgent surgical procedures, and trained and mentored interns. Before joining Upstate Veterinary Specialties, Dr. Wolf relocated to the upstate area as an Associate Veterinarian for Sand Creek Animal Hospital in Albany, NY. Dr. Wolf has a special interest in emergency medicine. She is a fear-free certified professional, aiming to reduce patients’ stress during hospital visits.

Dr. Wolf lives with her fiance and their very sweet and spirited Pugweiler, Raspberry Jam. Dr. Wolf enjoys hiking, skiing, travel, and live music.
