We are a privately owned, multispecialty referral practice located near Albany in the Capital District of upstate New York. Current specialists in the practice include Cardiology (3), Critical Care (1), Internal Medicine (2), Neurology (2), Ophthalmology (2), Radiology (1), Rehabilitation (1), Surgery (2), and Oncology (1). The new facility includes advanced imaging modalities and has dedicated hospitalization areas for intensive and intermediate care cases as well as a feline ward. Any additional equipment necessary for a state-of-the-art critical care service will be considered.
UVS is seeking a positive and enthusiastic leader to join our Emergency and Critical care department! This service head position will provide leadership and support with the rapid growth of our emergency department. Excellent management skills and advanced training and experience in Emergency and Critical Care are required. This position will include patient care as well as administrative and management duties, to ensure the emergency service is running smoothly and efficiently. The service lead will be involved in onboarding, training, scheduling, coaching, performance reviews, and providing continuing education for the Emergency staff members.
