Dr. Rebecca Weller grew up in Western, NY, and completed her undergraduate degree in biology at Medaille College in Buffalo, NY. Dr. Weller obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from University of Guelph, Ontario Veterinary College, in 2017.

Following her DVM, Dr. Weller returned to the states, where she completed a Small Animal Rotating Internship with Veterinary Medical Center of Central New York. Dr. Weller continued with Veterinary Medical Center of Central New York as an Emergency Veterinarian for three years. Before joining Upstate Veterinary Specialties in 2022, Dr. Weller worked as an Emergency Relief Veterinarian in the Buffalo, Rochester, and Albany areas. Dr. Weller has a strong interest in toxicity cases and wounds and lacerations and enjoys small animal exotic medicine, specifically ferrets. Dr. Weller is a member of the American and Canadian Veterinary Medical Associations.

Dr. Weller appreciates the Northeast, especially the fall season. She lives with her husband, two cats, and three ferrets. Dr. Weller is an avid runner and marathoner. She loves going to Disney and spending time with her family in her spare time.
