Dr. Katie Kroeker received her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences with a minor in Zoology from Colorado State University in May 2021. While pursuing her DVM, Katie worked as a Veterinary Assistant at Four Seasons Veterinary Specialties and participated in an eight-month Critical Care Student Research Team, screening urgent care and ICU patients at Colorado State University’s Veterinary Teaching Hospital for eligibility in veterinary clinical studies. In May 2026, Katie obtained her DVM from Colorado State University.
Katie joined UVS’s Emergency Medicine Mentorship Program (EMMP) in July 2026. She enjoys all aspects of emergency medicine and is passionate about connecting with people by caring for their animals and ensuring access to high-quality, tailored veterinary care. Katie has a strong interest in emergency care and internal medicine. She is dedicated to collaboration, continuous learning, and fostering a culture of compassion and curiosity for both pet owners and veterinary team members.
Katie moved from Colorado to Upstate NY with her husband and their cat, Enzo. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, camping, traveling, and exploring new coffee shops and breweries.
