Specialty: 24-Hour Emergency and Critical Care
Dr. Jennifer Reth was born and raised in Queens, NY. She attended Cornell University for her undergraduate degree in biology, making the Dean’s list all semesters. She obtained her DVM from Cornell University in 2001. Jennifer then spent 10 years working in a 24-hour general and emergency practice in Huntington, NY where she worked with specialists, evaluated emergency patients, provided overnight care, and monitored hospitalized patients.
Prior to joining Upstate Veterinary Specialties in 2017, Jennifer was an Associate Veterinarian at Best Friends Veterinary Care in Nesconset, NY. Before that she was an Emergency Veterinarian at Animal Emergency Service in Selden & Commack, NY. Jennifer is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the New York State Veterinary Medical Society, the Long Island Veterinary Medical Association, and the Veterinary Information Network. Jennifer has also completed various additional continuing education courses including soft tissue surgery, radiology, and oral surgery.
Jennifer and her husband truly enjoy upstate NY and spending time outdoors with their two children. They hope to add a furry friend to their family soon.
