Dr. Emily Geraghty received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in St. Kitts, West Indies, in 2015. Dr. Geraghty is a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist by the Chi Institute of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine and is certified in Animal Chiropractic by Options for Animals College of Animal Chiropractic.
From 2019-2023, Dr. Geraghty owned Bond Creek Alternative Veterinary Care in Kingsbury, NY, where she provided acupuncture and chiropractic mobile services for small and large animals. Before joining Upstate Veterinary Specialties in 2023, Dr. Geraghty was an urgent and emergent relief veterinarian with Northway Animal Emergency Hospital.
Dr. Geraghty lives with her husband and daughter. They own a small farm and enjoy spending time outdoors, gardening, and being on the water. Dr. Geraghty has two dogs, two cats, and a variety of farm friends.
