Ali Siddiqi, DVM

Dr. Ali Siddiqi was born in Methuen, MA and moved to Salem, NH at the age of seven. He attended Columbia University for his undergraduate degree in Middle Eastern and Asian Languages and Cultures. He obtained his DVM from Ross University in 2015 and then completed his clinical training at Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine.

Prior to joining Upstate Veterinary Specialties in 2017, Ali practiced at Oneonta Veterinary Hospital as an Associate Veterinarian where he provided general medical services, routine surgeries, and emergency and medical surgery services. Before that he was a Research Assistant with Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and assisted in a project entitled “Comparison of Two Methods for Teaching Bovine Palpation per Rectum to Veterinary Students.” Ali has also been interviewed by New York Magazine and his article, “The Veterinarian Who Won’t Touch Snakes” can be found in their October 31, 2016 issue.

Ali is a family man and moved to upstate NY to enjoy their company and also the weather. When he’s not working, you can find him hanging out with his nieces and nephew in NJ, helping out at his friend’s dairy barn, gardening fragrant flowers, or being a volunteer sous chef at his brother’s restaurant in Franklin, NY.
