Davida Rausch, DVM, DACVS-SA

Dr. Davida Rausch attended Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, FL, for her undergraduate degree in Ocean Studies. She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. Dr. Rausch then completed a one-year small animal medicine and surgery rotating internship with Long Island Veterinary Specialists in Plainview, NY.
Continuing to pursue her passion, she moved back to Florida, where she completed a surgical internship with Veterinary Specialists of South Florida, followed by a three-year surgery residency with Affiliated Veterinary Specialists. Dr. Rausch became board-certified by the American College of Veterinary Surgeons in 2012.
Before joining Upstate Veterinary Specialties in 2023, Dr. Rausch was the Staff Surgeon with Veterinary Specialty Services in Manchester, MO. Dr. Rausch has a strong interest in soft tissue and oncologic surgeries and is a member of the Veterinary Society of Surgical Oncology (VSSO) and the Society of Veterinary Soft Tissue Surgery (SVSTS).
Davida grew up in Westchester and moved back to the area to be closer to family. When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family, which includes her husband, three stepchildren, three dogs, and two cats. She also enjoys CrossFit, hiking, and skiing.
