Dr. Christina Scanlon Isack is a native of upstate New York and grew up on Lake George. Dr. Scanlon Isack received her bachelor’s degree in biology from Clarkson University in Potsdam, NY, where she played basketball and volleyball. Following her undergraduate degree, she pursued veterinary school and obtained her DVM from University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 2016.

Dr. Scanlon-Isack then completed a small animal rotating internship with VCA Alameda East Veterinary Hospital in Denver, CO, followed by a specialty internship in neurology with VCA Animal Specialty Group in Los Angeles, CA. Dr. Scanlon Isack completed her neurology and neurosurgery residency with University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in 2021. Dr. Scanlon Isack completed the requirements for board certification by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine and became a Diplomate of the College of Neurology (DACVIM) in 2021. Dr. Scanlon-Isack has a true passion for neurology, with a particular interest in cerebellar disease.

Dr. Scanlon Isack is excited to be back in the Northeast and closer to her family. During her spare time, she enjoys hiking, skiing, and, most of all, the fall season. Dr. Scanlon Isack and her husband, Adam, have two cats, a domestic medium-hair named Peludinho, “little furry” who was adopted after studying abroad in Brazil, and a Ragdoll named Ducky, who has cerebellar hypoplasia. They also have beautiful freshwater fish and are looking to adopt a dog soon.
