Upstate Veterinary Specialties, PLLC is a multi-specialty veterinary referral practice located in the Capital District of Upstate New York that strives to offer caring, state-of-the-art specialty veterinary services to pet owners and other veterinarians. 

All of our veterinarians have advanced specialty training, are board certified or are working toward board certification in their respective specialties (Cardiology, Internal Medicine, Ophthalmology, Radiology and Surgery).  We work with primary care veterinarians in a collaborative effort to provide optimal care to sick and injured animals.

Our practice utilizes the latest in medical technology to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of animals with complex disease processes.  The practice is located within the Capital District Animal Emergency Clinic, and our affiliation with the emergency service allows us to offer 24 hour veterinary care for hospitalized patients.  We are the only facility in the region to offer this service to critically ill patients. Companion MRI of Albany is also located within the building and allows for on-site advanced diagnostic imaging. These businesses constitute the most complete veterinary referral facility in the Capital District. 

We also offer payment services through Care Credit to help offset the financial burden of you pet’s medical care.
